Advisory Board Functions & Roles
(on a time available basis)
1) To keep one’s “eyes and ears” open
2) As we develop:
a) help advise on editorial parameters and future directions of the Press
b) help advise on reviewers for specialized manuscripts which are received over-the-transom
c) suggest potential book series and series editorships
d) refer high-quality manuscripts to the Press
e) assist in peer-review of selective scholarly research monographs when advantageous for author tenure and promotion
f) assist expanding the interdisciplinary Board to engage top scholars involved with LGBTQ studies
g) assist in defining emerging trends in LGBTQ diversity, inclusivity, equality
h) collaborate in devising additional functions & roles as part of the publisher-scholar collaboration
